Founder and director of Studio D, a consultancy based out of Tokyo that provides discreet services for clients with a global remit. We specialise in unpacking human behaviour mostly for corporate clients, embrace ethically challenging projects, and drawing insight from difficult to reach demographics. We've run projects in many countries from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and many countries in-between. How we approach projects.
I've published a number of books including The Field Study Handbook — a guide to travel anywhere, make sense of the world and make a difference. I'm currently working on my next book about human and organisational sensemaking.
Once a year Studio D runs a series of Masterclasses for our community.
We also publish a ~monthly Radar newsletter to over 8k subscribers, where we share what we've learned, what's interesting, as well as provide fellowships for up and coming practitioners in our diverse community.
